Toronto Dodgeball Tournament - September 24, 2011
Dallas Dodgeball traveled to Canada in September 2011 to compete in Toronto's $10,000 Dodgeball Tournament. The team was competitive in Round Robin play, but finished with more losses than victories which resulted in a low seed. Things got better for Dallas Dodgeball in the elimination rounds, where the squad beat the teams Wind and the Arizona Rampage, before losing to Entourage, one series short of making it to the Final Four. Dallas Dodgeball would like to thank Dan Vladescu and Lorne Kurtz for staging the tournament and all the great competitors who competed with great sportsmanship. ($10,000 will sometimes bring out the worst in teams and players, but in this tournament it brought out the best.) Congratulations to POW! Right in the Kisser for their 1st place finish, LA Golden State Syndicate for 2nd and Devil Bats for 3rd. Dallas Dodgeball is looking forward to Toronto's Dodgeball Nation's World Series Dodgeball Tournament to be held in July 2012 with a $15,000 first place prize!
